1898-1984
Born in Colchester, Connecticut, she attended Wheaton College. She studied in Boston at the Boston Museum School of Fine Arts and the Fenway School of Illustration. She also studied at the New York Art Students League and in Paris.
She did numerous oil and pastel portraits of children, which were described as “communicating appealingly the matter-of-factness and wondering curiosity of childhood.” She also did many illustrations for popular magazines.
She was a member of the National Association of Women Artist and the Allied American Artists.
