1877-1964
A member of AAN for over 20 years, Schepp exhibited at the Kenneth Taylor Galleries, the Easy Street Gallary (which she helped fund), and at the annual Sidewalk Art Shows.
She was a student of island artist Edgar W. Jenney (1869-1939) in the 1930’s. After her father’s death in 1926, Florence oversaw the Leopold Schepp Foundation and devoted her life to the Foundation’s support of the arts. Schepp amassed an enormous collection of work by island artists during her lifetime.
