Mulbry grew up in Florida. A past Massachusetts Artist Fellow, Mulbry graduated from Evergreen State College and the Boston Museum School. After solo exhibitions at the AAN in 1984 and 1985, she produced nine more at The Main Street Gallery from 1986 to 1995. “The act of painting is, among other things, about getting to the essence of an idea, an emotion, a memory, a moment.” Her current realistic work in watercolor and oil often focuses on architecture, bird life, or food.
