Anne Rosén has pursued photography for over 30 years. She started on her own, then took course at ICP in New York City which enabled her to build up a sizable body of early work. When she had children, she did not put down her camera, but happily and assiduously documented their early years in pictures. It took the digital revolution to renew her love and enthusiasm for street photography: in the past ten years she has taught herself how to use a digital camera, edit with Camera Raw and Photoshop, color management, scanning, and high-quality printing. She is glad to finally have, right on her computer, a color “darkroom,” and to still be discovering the art. She is married to the writer André Spears, with whom she has collaborated on several book projects.
