“Everything’s an experiment…” and so began Barrie’s move from classroom teacher to full time
artist in 2020. As a printmaker, Barrie creates block prints using wood, lino, and soft carve, as
well as screen prints created with hand cut stencils. Her work can be found in the newly
renovated White Elephant Nantucket as part of the Artist in Residence program, the
Sustainable Nantucket Farmers’ and Artisans’ Market, the mercantiles at Pip&Anchor and
