Bernd Haussman is a German-born abstract artist, now living as a US resident in the north shore of Boston and western Maine. Haussmann’s work is internationally exhibited, and hangs in numerous private, corporate, and museum collections around the world. He has also taught at several American universities and colleges, and teaches mindfulness workshops in Iceland, Germany, and the US. From 2012 to 2015, Haussmann engaged with scientists in a non-verbal dialogue, “Dialogues” as artist-in-residence at the Broad Institute of Harvard and MIT. He embraces his audience with environmental inclusionary, interactive projects and collaborations.
