Elizabeth Sutherland, transforms acrylic paint into the watery fluid pooling of the sea with colors capturing the ebb and flow of the Nantucket shoreline. Her vision emulates tidal washes creating forms upon forms as though looking through time. She majored in graphic design where she received the honor of best senior portfolio at the Art Institute of Boston. She has been living and painting on Nantucket since 1991.
