As a child growing up in Manhattan, my father, a student and member of the Art Student’s League, would take me painting in Central Park, where I developed my initial love and desire to paint and draw. I was surrounded by art in our home and it became a major part of my development and being. My career as a veterinarian allowed me see my world through the innocent eyes of animals and remain sensitive to my environment. I have been blessed to be associated with Robert Foster Fine Art , as well as the Artists Association.
My love of color and design inspires my art, and with that love, I try to create a world that though unreal, becomes what is real and desirable in the eyes of the viewer. As my paintings are studied, I hope they can evoke some moments of peace, free from the distractions of daily life, perhaps transporting the viewer to another place.
