In this class students will be making a book- but with a twist, joining clay and printmaking studio practices in one piece. Students will craft ceramic covers, which will be fired and then glazed. While the covers are being finished, we will work to make the pages and then learn to “sew the book,” aka bookbind.

Students who would like the opportunity to use the techniques learned in Surface Design on Tile with Amanda Pellerin to create covers for this class, the AAN is offering a 25% discount on both classes. Please contact the office at (508)228-0722 prior to enrolling online to receive the discount.
